You are cordially invited to audition for our second staged reading of the 2026 season, Natural Causes by Eric Chappell. Directed by Kenneth Faherty.

The story: Vincent is a professional suicide merchant. He has been summoned by Walter Bryce and mistakenly assumes that his potion is for Walter's consumption. Eventually it becomes clear that Walter's wife Celia is the client or is she? Why are her suicide letters typed and unsigned? Several attempts to do away with various characters result in multiple poisonings of a rubber plant. Will anyone actually drink the potion?

Seeking 2 women and 3 men for the roles of Angie, Celia Bryce, Vincent, Walter Bryce & Withers.

Auditions will be held in room 108 at the Homewood Library on Monday, March 2 at 6pm.

The performance will be held at The Dance Foundation (1715 27th Ct S, Homewood, AL 35209) on Sunday, April 26th at 2:30pm. We may be adding a performance the afternoon or evening before on Saturday, April 25th. Rehearsals will be relaxed and based upon conflicts supplied.
